MathSifu Circle
A complete mastery system for independent maths learners.
Diagnostic precision. Cross-level mapping. Conceptual Depth.
Built for self-direction. Designed for clarity. Free from hand-holding.
$67/month.
Why MathSifu Circle?
Students practice and revise using random materials. But they can't pinpoint exactly what and where they are stuck.
They miss out connections between primary and secondary school topics.
Assessment books only provide questions, but without structure.
Tutor provide guidance, but without full breakdown across different topics and levels.
Full Topical Breakdown
Every topic is broken to its core basics, applications and further enrichment and learning pre-requisites. Students can immediately locate what to revise and to progress.
Conceptual Depth
Take learning beyond school textbooks and exams with sharing of further insights and mathematical ideas. This is to increase the appreciation and understanding of current school content, and more.
Self-Filtered Practice
Self-revise effectively using the constant growing library of question banks and exam papers.
More than 70 assessment sets and 200 practice questions, and counting.
What MathSifu Circle Replaces
No more routine tuition programs:
Traditional tuition rents you a teacher's time ($300-500/month for 4-8 hours). Circle gives you a complete practice operating system: structured mastery, diagnostic precision, conceptual depth, that no tutor can provide in weekly sessions.
No more scattered YouTube resources:
Free content teaches procedures. Circle builds mastery through structured progression, reveals powerful mathematical ideas underneath school procedures, and provides diagnostic precision that scattered videos cannot offer.
No more random assessment books:
Assessment books give you questions and answers. Circle gives you precision practice, self-diagnostic clarity, cross-level mapping, and conceptual insights that transform mechanical execution into mathematical understanding.
Who MathSifu Circle Is For?
It suits those who...
- want structure without being managed
- prefer systems over constant instruction
- are able to decide what they need and ignore what they don't.
This is not for you if...
This Circle may not be a good fit for you if you are looking for:
- someone to tell you exactly what to do each week
- reminders, supervision, or external accountability
- quick fixes or short-term results
- personalized feedback on every piece of work
The Circle assume readiness for independent engagement.
If that expectation feels uncomfortable, this environment will likely feel misaligned.
This includes...
- students who want a smarter way to study maths
- parents who want a structured learning environment rather than endless materials
- adults rebuilding foundations or sharpening thinking.
What matters is not the age or level, but how the learner engages.
What's Inside?
MathSifu Circle contains multiple learning systems, each serving a different purpose.
There is no fixed path and no required order.
Learners enter based on intent, not level.
1 ) M5™️ Mastery System
Full Topical Analysis and Notes Across 10 years of Singapore Math.
A topic-by-topic framework covering Primary 3 through Secondary 4, where every concept is broken into six diagnostic layers:
- M0: Prerequisites → "Am I ready for this topic?"
- M1: Core Content → Syllabus essentials
- M2: Key Insights → What matters MOST about this topic
- M3: Strategic Edge → Techniques and patterns schools don't teach
- M4: Future Connections → "Where does this lead?"
- OM: Olympiad Depth → For intellectual challenge
What makes M5 different:
Self-diagnostic clarity
Instead of vague "I don't understand fractions," pinpoint EXACTLY where breakdown occurs: Is it M0 (missing prerequisites)? M1 (content confusion)? M2 (misunderstanding key insights)? M3 (lacking strategic application)? Full syllabus breakdown organized by mathematical concepts, not just grade levels, which allows strategic revision without decision paralysis.
Cross-level mapping
See explicit connections between primary and secondary topics. How primary fractions relate to secondary algebraic fractions. How ratio thinking evolves into proportion and rate. Bridges that textbooks assume but never make visible.
Precision practice infrastructure
Tagged question database organized by topic, M5 layer, and difficulty level. Self-filter for exactly what you need: "Show me questions testing M2 Key Insights in Fractions at intermediate difficulty."
Includes comprehensive study notes, aligned question banks, exam papers (PSLE, Secondary End-of-Year, Prelims, O-Levels), and video explainers for select high-leverage questions.
Ongoing support
Articles and content will be updated on a regular basis. Users' requests for specific updates of materials will be prioritised. The library continuously grows... with you.
2 ) Mental Maths System
Mental Maths is Not Paper Math Without the Writing.
This system is created to bring together useful techniques that students can apply in their everyday mathematical calculations. Backed by research from mathematical applications in ancient civilizations.
This is to help students improve on the following areas,
- Calculation speed → Reduces cognitive load during complex problem-solving
- Working memory capacity → Enables thinking under time pressure
- Number sense and estimation → Supports strategic decision-making
This is not just another library of tricks and gimmicks to replace standard school teaching. Each technique is full explained and linked back to the related techniques learnt in schools.
3 ) Content Vaults
Stretching the Learning beyond School.
Four distinct vaults, each serving different learning purposes:
The Sixth Constant: Radical mathematical ideas that reveal WHY procedures work. Not required for exams, but deepens understanding and appreciation of the mathematics underneath school content.
Methods, Forms & Question Types: PSLE heuristics, secondary question strategies, tactical execution guides. Immediate practical value for exam preparation and pattern recognition.
Patterns, Errors & Traps: Common mistakes diagnosed, exam setter traps revealed, mitigation protocols. Reduces "careless errors" through systematic awareness.
Scrolls & Writings: Mathematics in daily life, learning philosophy, meta-cognitive reflections. Broader thinking beyond exam-focused content.
The vaults are living archives, growing monthly with new insights, techniques, and explorations. Read selectively based on current needs, not sequentially.
What the Circle Does Not Include
Circle is intentionally designed without live supervision or personalized support.
It does not include:
- Individual feedback or marking of work
- Progress tracking or monitoring by an instructor
- Reminders, follow-ups, or accountability checks
- Direct messaging or on-demand access to Moses
- Weekly sessions or scheduled check-ins
The Circle provides structure, systems, and space.
Judgment and responsibility remain with the learner.
How to Use the Circle
Circle is not designed to be completed.
Learners are not expected to go through every system, course, or article.
It works best when used selectively, based on current needs.
Some enter to build foundations systematically through M5.
Some return for direction during revision periods.
Others dip in when clarity is needed on specific concepts.
Some work through Mental Maths to strengthen calculation infrastructure.
Others read vault articles when seeking deeper understanding.
The value of Circle comes from having a structured place to return to, not from consuming everything in one seating.
Relationship to Mentorship (MMP)
The MathSifu Circle and MathSifu Mentorship Pass (MMP) serve different purposes.
Circle provides structure, systems, and space for independent learning.
Mentorship exists for situations that require judgment, intervention, and personalized guidance.
There is no required progression between the two.
No hierarchy. No conversion path.
Learners may remain in Circle indefinitely, working through M5 and vault content independently.
Others may explore mentorship separately if and when judgment-based intervention becomes necessary.
Some use both—Circle for structured practice, MMP for diagnostic correction when practice alone proves insufficient.

This Circle is the closest thing
to my "Second Brain of Mathematics".
I see this as the new age of learning and education, in the many years to come.
Knowledge alone isn't enough.
True mastery comes with knowledge and insights and independence
If that resonates, welcome to the Circle. Or you can subscribe to hear more about this project.
