Hi everyone,
Over the past few months, I’ve observed something important.
When I first introduced the MathSifu Mentorship Pass (MMP), many parents and students were both curious and cautious. Some wondered if their children could truly adapt from a fixed tuition schedule to a system where they take the initiative to book their own consultations.
I hear these concerns, and I take every piece of feedback seriously.
The MMP was never meant to be just another tutoring model. The MMP is not just a new system, it’s a new mindset.
Its true purpose is to nurture independent, self-directed learners, students who take ownership of their progress, meet me with clear goals, and learn to evaluate themselves with honesty and curiosity.
It’s an unconventional goal, I know. For years, tuition has followed a predictable rhythm: fixed lessons, rain or shine. But meaningful change often begins by questioning what’s comfortable. The shift will take time for both parents and students, and that’s perfectly fine. We’re in this together.
After several months of reflection and review, I’ll be introducing a few updates to enhance the MMP experience starting 1 December 2025.
1. Transition to One-Time Payments
To simplify the payment process and reposition MMP as a premium mentorship experience built on flexibility and depth, not affordability alone, all monthly payment options will be discontinued.
From 1 December 2025, the fees will be as follows:
MMP Apprentice – No changes
MMP Disciple – $780
MMP Master – $1,080
MMP Grandmaster – $1,320
Each tier continues to include full access to consultation hours, dashboards, and communication channels throughout the validity period.
2. Introducing MMP–Initiation
This is a new entry-tier program designed for families who wish to experience the MMP model before committing long-term.
You’ll receive:
6 consultation hours
Valid for 1 month
Fee: $360
Students in this tier will also receive full access to the Personalised Learning Dashboard to track usage, monitor progress, and stay in touch throughout the month.
3. Expanded Access to the M5™ Maths System
The M5™ Maths System has always been the backbone of how I teach, structured, layered, and designed for mastery. Expanding its access allows more students to build consistency between mentorship and self-study.
To further support students who take initiative in their own learning, the M5™ Maths System will now be included from the Disciple Tier onwards (previously available only to Master and above).
This system gives students 24/7 access to:
My written study notes
Question banks and test papers
Thematic enrichment articles and reflections
All designed to help them revise independently and deepen their mathematical mastery.
4. Revised Validity Periods for Consultation Hours
When MMP first launched, all tiers had a 6-month validity. However, I noticed a recurring pattern: many students reserved most of their hours for last-minute pre-exam sessions.
While flexibility is part of MMP’s design, true mentorship thrives on consistent engagement.
From 1 December 2025, the new validity periods will be:
Apprentice: 2 months
Disciple: 3 months
Master & Grandmaster: No change
This ensures smoother scheduling, fairer access for everyone, and cultivates steady progress throughout each student’s learning journey.
Final Thoughts
The MMP is still evolving, just like the students it serves. Every refinement is guided by one principle: to make mentorship meaningful, sustainable, and deeply human.
Thank you for believing in this unconventional path of learning.
Let’s continue to sharpen minds, nurture independence, and make mentorship meaningful, sustainable, and deeply human.
